This is an open letter of testimonial regarding Lone Star Olive Ranch and it's collective teams.

All to often people will have the impression that one day we just decided to have an olive orchard and go into the olive oil business and the next day VoilĂ  it just magically appears. This couldn't be the furthest from reality!

Our journey started in 2007 wanting to build a legacy for our children and grandchildren that would honor our family. The actual planting of our orchard was completed in the fall of 2014. Many years of research to looking for the right property to making ready the planting area and finally to finding a team that has the commitment and knowledge to help you succeed. Christine and Cathy backed by Berto and his team are those individuals that collectively make up LSOR. All to often we hear nice little break downs of acronyms and think oh-boy however in the case of LSOR - TEAM (together everybody achieves more) is right on the money.

Christine individually brings a level of expertise that one wants to lean on and utilize to ensure the best possible outcomes. Berto, the team boss, has a level of determination and commitment which is second to none. Together they work as if the orchard is their own - and truth be told it sort of is given their focus to achieve success.

Together with their supporting teams you have a model that works, a comfort in a personal commitment from each individual on the team and a dedication to your success.

If you live in Texas and want to start an olive business - save yourself some time and engage LSOR right away.

Dear Christine,
This letter is a narrative of our experience with your company that you may share with your customers.- It was not requested by you but voluntarily provided as a testament of the excellent service we received from your firm.,

Several years ago, my family became interested in the prospect of growing olive trees in Brazos County, Texas as a commercial enterprise. After doing some research and visiting with some of the pioneers, we decided to take the plunge. Unfortunately, the few sources in the state known for planning, developing, and planting olive orchards were never able to make a firm commitment to plant the trees. In a state of frustration, I again googled Texas olive production and discovered Lone Star Olive Ranch which was located only a few miles from our property.
My first contact was a cold call to the phone number on their website. The call was quickly returned by Cathy Bernell, and she was most helpful and eager to answer any question about the prospect. Her enthusiasm for the future of Texas olive production was evident and contagious. She offered to visit our site and Cathy and Christine McCabe took the time to look at our location and explain in great detail how the management of an olive orchard worked. We then visited their location in Madisonville and it was during that meeting that we discovered that Lone Star Olive Ranch had recently expanded to providing installation services. After several conversations we decided to retain Lone Star to implement our orchard. We recently completed the first phase of our project by planting 1,000 trees on 5 acres. Lone Star began with a study of the soil composition, an engineering study to determine the optimal layout for our project, survey work to accurately plot our orchard, hydrographic studies to make sure the water quality and irrigation system would be sufficient, an analysis of the soil for any pathogens, fencing to keep unwanted animals in the orchard, preparation of the field for planting, installing a modern irrigation system, and the planting of the trees. Throughout this several month process, the owners and staff of Lone Star Olive Ranch provided a level of service beyond compare. They did what they said they were going to do and did it when they said they would, all at a reasonable and fair price.

The olive industry in Texas is truly in its infancy and the future looks very bright. I can attest from my experience that the initial installation of any olive orchard should be guided by an expert in the field. In that regard, I heartily endorse Lone Star Olive Ranch as a leader in every phase of implementation of a new facility.

With Regards,
Charles McGuire
